I’m the founder of Maternal Mind Therapy and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina.

I provide therapy for women during preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood who are experiencing anxiety, mood-related concerns, birth-related distress, or challenges related to identity shifts and adjustment.

Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply invested in doing things “the right way,” yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or disconnected from themselves during this transition. These experiences are common. You don’t have to navigate them alone.

Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and build greater emotional steadiness and self-trust at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.

Telehealth services are available to clients located in North Carolina.

Hi, I’m Lauren Sciremammano.

My Approach

My approach is about creating a safe space to understand what you’re experiencing, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.

Therapy is a journey. I offer a steady, respectful therapeutic relationship where your experiences are taken seriously and your pace is honored.

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You are welcome to bring uncertainty, ambivalence, or simply the sense that something feels off. Together, we will work towards greater clarity, emotional steadiness, and a more connected relationship with yourself during this chapter of life.

Our work together is paced carefully and shaped by your needs, values, and goals. We focus on what feels most important in your life right now, while also attending to patterns that may be contributing to distress.
